April and Powder

Posted by LizWoods 14th April 2010

At the end of March the warm temperatures and strong sun took away a huge amount of the snow, BUT, Then our usual end of season dump finally arrived. Four days of snow and cold temperatures made it feel like winter had started all over again skiing fresh powder everywhere, and thanks to Megeve’s terrain we only need one dump and every bit of off piste is opened up. Good times!
This week we’ve been quite partial to the ‘Chattrix’ run from the top of ‘l’Epuale’ chair lift, it’s the longest descent without a lift getting in your way, and great to let it rip all the way down into ‘St Nicholas’.
