Mayrhofen — Families

Skiing with the family can be a wonderful experience for everybody but preparation is the key to a relaxing time for all. Childcare facilities and ski school do get very busy so if possible book well in advance. See our top ten tips for ski holidays with children here.

Ski schools for children

The Mayrhofen ski schools offer courses for children aged four and above. The morning and afternoon sessions usually last about two hours. If requested, children will be looked after for the whole day. For very young guests, the ski schools provide trained carers who will look after and entertain the children – including activities like playing games or making snowmen. Children’s snowboarding lessons are also available!

Wuppy's Kindergarten

At Mayrhofen’s kindergarten and crèche specially trained staff look after and supervise infants from the age of three months to seven years. Wuppy’s kindergarten is equipped with playpens, playrooms and nappy changing facilities. Wuppy’s is located at the new Leisure Pool.

Children's information centre

The Tourism Association has set up a special information area for its younger guests. All children receive a surprise welcome pack and can borrow games free of charge. The Tourism Association has contacts for babysitters too, so should you need a little respite, they can put you in touch with professional carers for your children.

Hire of games and pushchairs

Children’s, family and adult games can be hired free of charge from the Tourist Office upon presentation of a (Mayrhofen-Hippach) Guest Card. Buggies, prams and a carrying-frame are available for hire.
