Megeve — Food and drink

The standard of restaurants in Megeve is high, and you should expect that eating out will be more costly than in some other resorts. If you are on a budget it is possible to get a good deal at some of the pizzerias but if you are celebrating a special occasion try one of the Michelin-starred restaurants such as Le Ferme de Mon Pere (3 stars). Megeve has some wonderful rustic mountain restaurants, the best of which is L’Alpette near the Rochebrune chair.
 
Although not renowned for its apres-ski there are plenty of nice bars on your way back from the slopes. Later on, things can get quite lively with three main nightclubs in the centre and bars that stay open until 4am. For live music visit the well known jazz club (Cinq Rues), or there is even a casino if you fancy a flutter. Many venues in this chic resort have dress codes and prices are high.
