Val d'Isere — Families
Skiing with the family can be a wonderful experience for everybody but preparation is the key to a relaxing time for all. Childcare facilities and ski school do get very busy so if possible book well in advance. See our top ten tips for ski holidays with children here.
Nurseries
There are two main nurseries in Val d'Isère: the Village des Enfants and the Petit Poucet. They offer slightly different services. The Village des Enfants offers ski tuition in addition to nursery care. The Petit Poucet does not offer lessons but will transport your children to and from their lessons.
Child care assistants
The tourist office website has a list of accredited child care assistants in Val d'Isère.
Ski Schools
The French Ski School (ESF) offer dedicated lessons for kids over the age of four. For children between the ages of four and five, the snow gardens offer a safe and fun environment to get acquainted with skis.
