Champoluc — Where to stay

Most of the accommodation is in hotels in the village of Champoluc, in an area stretching from just below the main square to beyond the main gondola on the road to Frachey. Some tour operators (eg Snow Secrets, snow-secrets.com) offer apartments and a couple of chalets. There are three 4-star hotels in Champoluc and the others are either 3-star or very good bed & breakfasts. There is only one hotel with the benefit of ski-in/ski-out; the Hotel de Champoluc (hotel-de-champoluc.com) which is right beside the main gondola of Champoluc and the piste “Del Bosco” back into the village.
Most hotels cater for children, however the homey Hotel Castor (hotelcastor.eu) is particularly child friendly – the family who run it have three children of their own.
The most economical options are apartments and chalets, or a bed & breakfast. If the resort is busy and it is difficult to find accommodation, look at the hotels in the village of Antagnod, which is about 5km from Champoluc and is covered by the ski bus service which runs every 20 minutes (in high season there is also an evening service).
