Courmayeur — Where to stay

Courmayeur’s mainstay of accommodation consists of hotels and it’s easy to find some good value packages, especially for weekends. Many of the hotels are located around the centre of the village, on or around Via Roma.  The large 4-star Grand Hotel Royal and Golf in the centre of the village places you right in the action. Finish your day with a dip in their heated outdoor pool before venturing out to browse the nearby boutiques. Another centrally located hotel, the 2-star Edelweiss, is a friendly place that is easier on your wallet. If you have your own transport, it is also worth investigating staying in one of the smaller villages such as Dolonne, Entrèves, or the slightly bigger Pré-Saint-Didier.
 
Families are well catered for in Courmayeur and there are plenty of chalets and hotels with half-board options so as to avoid dragging the kids to a different restaurant every night. The 3-star Bouton d’Or, near the Piazzale Monte Bianco, is amongst the best - a family-friendly hotel popular hotel with British guests. Momentum Ski are Courmayeur specialists and also have a great selection of accommodation to suit families, as well as corporate groups and long weekend breaks. Hotel Courmayeur sits at the southern end of Via Roma just minutes’ walk from the lifts and is an ideal spot for short breaks at reasonable prices.
