Kathryn gets her Mojo back!
I am a seasonal skier who suffered an accident a few years ago and has had several knee operations to rectify the problem, but still suffers pain with sporting activities, such as skiing.
The ski mojo is an excellent gadget which, in effect, acts as suspension for your knees. It consists of two rods which align to the side of your legs and a comfy strap around your hips with an adjustable mechanism for the amount of resistance you might need. It is a little fiddly to set up initially and takes a hour or so, but is well worth the time.
You wear the mojo under your normal ski salopettes and is easily clipped in your boots once you are ready to ski. It feels a little weird at first but once you are off skiing you really cannot tell you are wearing it. It effectively takes the strain off your joints so there is no juddering over the bumps and also allows you to bend your knees further without enduring the stress in your knees.
The one thing you have to remember to do is switch it on and off when getting on a chair lift or into a gondola. If you leave it switched on, then you cannot bend your knees enough to sit comfortably, but you soon get used to that too.

All in all a weird, but effective gadget and although quite pricey, is well worth the money. It allowed me to ski better than I have ever skied, with no knee pain whatsoever. Just one last point - you must watch the video tips on how you go to the toilet whilst wearing the Mojo... when you do you will understand!
